TJHN Showcase 2026 Dates Announced
The Junior Hockey News Showcase is proud to announce the return of our annual event to last year’s venue in Hazel Park, Michigan, marking the 23rd consecutive year of showcase competition.
From May 15–17, 2026, the Detroit area will once again welcome scouts, coaches, and team executives from across North America as they evaluate some of the best free agent players aged 16 to 20. For athletes, this showcase is more than just games on the ice—it represents a premier opportunity to be seen, recruited, and advanced to the next stage of their careers.
The 2025 Showcase proved to be one of our most successful years to date. Among the outcomes:
12 NCDC tenders or contracts signed
1 NAHL tender along with multiple NAHL Main Camp invitations
1 CCHL signing
Several NOJHL offers
8 players advancing to new AAA programs
1 direct NCAA Division III commitment
Perhaps most impressive, nearly every player in attendance last year received an opportunity to advance to their next level of play—an achievement that reflects both the quality of participating athletes and the depth of scouting representation.
Building on that momentum, the 2026 Showcase is expected to feature even more teams, expanded scouting presence, and greater opportunities for player advancement.
As always there are only two goalie openings per team, six defensemen, and nine forwards maximum.
Registration is now officially open, and spaces are limited. Players serious about pursuing higher-level opportunities are encouraged to secure their spot early.
